I am a narrative audio storytelling specialist. Podcasting and radio documentarian. Published author. Musician. Toy photographer.
Whether my tool is a keyboard, a microphone or a camera, my passion is the same: to tell compelling, engaging stories that connect with your audience or client. I have worked as a creative director, writer, producer, editor and host. Please drop me a line if you need someone who can help you effectively tell your story in any media – video, audio, print or social.
I have spent the past twenty years honing my storytelling skills across multiple media and platforms so that I can work online, on air, in print or live in person. I am comfortable, confident and capable either in front of an audience or behind the scenes. I am also a team member, builder and leader, focused on getting the very best out of everyone around me.
I am an award-winning producer of radio journalism, an internationally published author and writer, as well as a luxury and lifestyle specialist in video and social media.
I transform vision into action.
I worked as an arts, sports, music and current events journalist, editor and producer at CBC Radio for thirteen years. My focus was men’s style and men’s issues. I have produced a number of documentaries, features and series on tailoring, masculinity and fatherhood, as well as writing for prominent national newspapers and magazines like The Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, Zoomer, TITLE and Sharp Men’s Magazine. My first book, a history of Walter Beauchamp, Canada’s oldest tailor, was published by Figure 1 in September, 2017. My second book, 10 Garments Every Man Should Own, was published March 2021 by Dundurn Press.
