The guys at Rampley and Co. – British makers of fine accessories for men and women – recently asked me to participate in their “How to Dress Like a Gentleman” series of articles. Which involved answering a list of questions about my approach to style. I hadn’t done an interview like this in a while so it was a useful exercise in re-evaluating where I am at right now with my wardrobe. And how I feel about it.

The piece covers a lot of ground, including accessories, watches and what article of clothing I choose first when building an outfit. It also begins with describing my personal style. An excerpt:

I am very much on a journey of self-discovery that I hope never ends. I hope I never cease to discover new items, new makers and the excitement and joy that comes with getting dressed.
